We call our parents and email our friends. We put everything in boxes. We buy potato salad and boil all the eggs and grind some coffee.
Today we wait in Brooklyn and watch the movers haul boxes down the stairs.
Tomorrow we will load the Subaru and drive to rural Virginia.
